The Pittsylvania County Code is comprised of numerous codes and ordinances that govern a variety of local issues ranging from zoning to animal control and local law enforcement, to solid waste disposal. All Codes and Ordinances are adopted by the Board of Supervisors, making them local law. Pittsylvania County publishes a digital version of the Pittsylvania County Code online as a convenience to the public. While we make every effort to ensure that the online version is accurate, it shall not be considered the official Pittsylvania County Code. Amendments, additions, or deletions may have been made by the Board of Supervisors subsequent to the last publishing of the online version.
