Pittsylvania County is governed by a seven-member Board of Supervisors, who are elected by district to four-year terms.

Darrell Dalton
Darrell Dalton is the Callands-Gretna District representative and the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors. Dalton has been on the Board since January, 2022.
Tim Dudley
Tim Dudley is the Staunton River District representative and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Supervisors. Dudley has been on the Board since 2020.
Vic Ingram
William "Vic" Ingram is the Tunstall District representative on the Board of Supervisors. Ingram's first term began in 2020.
Ken Bowman
Ken Bowman is the Chatham-Blairs District representative on the Board of Supervisors. Bowman has been on the Board since January 2024.
Murray Whittle
Murray Whittle is the Westover District representative on the Board of Supervisors. Whittle has been on the Board since January 2024.
Robert M. Tucker, Jr.
Robert M. Tucker is the Banister District representative on the Board of Supervisors. Tucker was appointed and sworn into office in November of 2022.
Eddie Hite
Eddie Hite is the Dan River District representative on the Board of Supervisors. Hite has been on the Board since January 2024.

Constitutional Officers

Pittsylvania County voters are responsible for selecting five Constitutional Officers. These officials are selected to represent the entire County. The Clerk of Court serves an eight-year term whereas the rest serve four years.

The Pittsylvania County School Board is composed of seven members who are elected by District to serve four year terms. Pictured above, left to right: Willie T.
