Pittsylvania County is governed by a seven-member Board of Supervisors, who are elected by district to four-year terms.
Constitutional Officers
Pittsylvania County voters are responsible for selecting five Constitutional Officers. These officials are selected to represent the entire County. The Clerk of Court serves an eight-year term whereas the rest serve four years.
