Each year Pittsylvania County issues an annual comprehensive financial report. This report is prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and provides financial statements audited by an independent public accounting firm. Information contained in this report reflects the financial condition of the County to its citizens, elected officials, management staff, financial institutions, County bondholders, rating agencies and all other individuals and entities interested in the financial health of the County.
