Sealed BIDS from qualified contractors for the construction of the Pittsylvania County – Ringgold Rail Trail Pedestrian Bridge will be received by Pittsylvania County, at the Pittsylvania County Administrator’s Office, 1 Center Street, Chatham, Virginia 24531 before 2:00 p.m. on January 12, 2023. The sealed bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in the conference room, at the Pittsylvania County Administrator’s office directly after 2:00 p.m. on January 12, 2023.

 The principal features of work to be performed under this Contract consist of site grading, demolition of existing damaged bridge span, construction of new bridge span, erosion and sediment control, site stabilization, and clearing and grubbing as described in the drawings and specifications.
