The Pittsylvania County Adult and Career Education program is committed to maintaining an educational program to increase and improve individual opportunities through adult education and career programs. Our focus is on raising the college and career readiness of Virginia adults and out of school youth who do not have a high school credential.

Free GED classes are offered daily to any Pittsylvania County resident that needs them. You can learn more about this program on the Pittsylvania County Schools website.

Adults who wish to upgrade their skills are also provided assistance in academic areas such as, but not limited to: language usage, reading, mathematics, social studies, and science.
