Convenience Center Rules

To ensure a safe and convenient experience for all County residents, Pittsylvania County Solid Waste maintains some rules for the County's Convenience Centers and Greenbox sites. These rules touch on topics like what materials must be disposed of at the County landfill and the types of plastics that can be recycled

Pittsylvania County convenience centers and greenbox sites are services intended exclusively for County residents to dispose of household garbage. Pittsylvania County has installed cameras at each of these sites to ensure that all users follow the rules and to prevent contractors and non-County residents from using the sites.
