Spaying or neutering is a simple, low-cost procedure that can reduce animal abandonment rates, improve the health and longevity of your pet, decrease the overall cost of care, and reduce animal overpopulation in Pittsylvania County.  

Do you need assistance with spaying or neutering your pet? We help to reduce our community pet population with pet population by assisting local pet owners with the cost of spaying or neutering their animal. We have vouchers that help with the cost of the surgery. All you need to do is contact your local veterinary clinic that honors our vouchers (listed below) and schedule an appointment.

Once you have your appointment, stop by the Pet Center during our business hours to pick up a voucher. You will have to fill out a form. We cannot fax the voucher to the clinic.

We cover up to $75 of a dog’s spay or neuter, and we cover up to $50 of a cat’s spay or neuter.

Multiple animals? No problem! You can receive up to four vouchers! Rabies and distemper vaccines are required if you are using our vouchers.

The voucher may not cover the full cost of services and you will be expected to pay any difference at the time of service.
