The mission of Pittsylvania County Youth Sports is to provide professionally managed, safe and healthy recreational sports tailored to the needs of the community.

Youth Basketball Registrations

County basketball registrations for ages 6 to 14 can be done online in Pittsylvania County for the Tunstall, Chatham, Dan River and Gretna districts. Online basketball registrations run October 1 through October 25 and help supplement on-site registrations. Contact information and onsite registration dates for each recreation club is in the link below.

Citizens without internet access can still register by attending their local clubs on-site registration or completing an athletic registration form and returning it, along with payment, to the Parks and Recreation Office in Chatham or to the club in their area. If payment is made by check, the check should be made out to the recreation club for which the child is registering.

Please note: There is a $3 admission fee for all games. This fee pays for officials and staff and is collected by Parks & Recreation.
