Pilot Program at Kentuck Elementary School

The purpose of this pilot program is to address the scarcity and high cost of childcare in our area by offering an affordable option for parents with school-aged children. Our hope is that this will be a successful program with the goal of expanding countywide in the future.

Program Overview
We are committed to offering a supportive space where children can thrive. Our program focuses on:

  • Academic Support: Dedicated homework time and tutoring opportunities.
  • Creative Exploration: Arts and crafts activities that nurture creativity.
  • Physical Activity: Daily movement to keep kids active and healthy.
  • STEM Learning: Hands-on STEM activities to spark curiosity and critical thinking.

Program Highlights

  • Start Date: January 6, 2025
  • Days & Hours: Monday - Friday, after school until 6:00 p.m.
  • Location: Kentuck Elementary School

  • Applications Open: October 1, 2024

    • Note: Applying does not guarantee a spot in the program. This is a first come first serve basis. Applicants will be contacted with further information regarding acceptance.

We encourage parents to apply early, as space is limited.

Cost and Fees

  • Registration Fee: $90 per child (one-time fee) or $80 per additional sibling.
  • Weekly Rate: $55 per week ($52 for each additional sibling).

Q. Who can apply to the program?
A. The program is open to students attending Kentuck Elementary, from K-6th grade.

Q. What is the pick-up procedure?
A. Parents will pick up children at the designated location at 6:00 p.m. A late pick-up fee will apply after 6:05 p.m.

Q. Can my child attend specific days instead of the whole week?
A. Currently, we are only offering full-week participation to ensure consistency and engagement.
