Pittsylvania County Parks and Recreation will once again be offering open gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting July 11.  Contingent upon interest and participation, the program will run until County schools reopen for classes on August 8, 2023.  Below are further details about the open gym program.

• When: Every Tues. and Thurs. from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm beginning July 11, 2023, until August 3, 2023.
• Who can participate: Boys and girls ages 8 to 14 with a completed and signed permission form from a parent or guardian. Permission form must be completed before anyone can participate.
• What sports/activities will be available: Volleyball on Tuesday and Basketball on Thursday.
• Where: Chatham Community Center

  • Participants may arrive 15 minutes prior to the start and must be picked up by a parent or guardian by 4:15 pm.
