Employee Testimonials

It takes more than 375 full-time and more than 200 part-time employees to keep Pittsylvania County government running smoothly. We have dozens of different departments and divisions, and each of those requires talented people.

Meet a few of the people that keep the County operating and ensure that all services are provided in a timely and efficient manner.

"EMS and patient care is something that I am very passionate about. I enjoy helping my patients in their time of need. I have an awesome partner to work with and my station is full of welcoming people. My supervisors are always there when I need them no matter the time or day, and they make me feel appreciated and see that any issues that I may have are taken care of.

Everyone that I have met is super friendly and always willing to help or answer questions. Public Safety is like family. It is important to have that closeness with those that you work with when performing the work that we do."
