Board of Equalization

The Board of Equalization is an independent body appointed by the Circuit Court judge to hear and consider assessment appeals and equalize such assessments. This Board meets as needed during the reassessment process, as determined by this Board and the reassessment contractor. The Board of Equalization shall be composed of no Less than three members and no more than seven members appointed by Circuit Court.

A Board of Equalization will be appointed for the 2024 reassessment process.
