The LOVEworks sign at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex (ODAC) was dedicated on June 3, 2023. The illustrations on the letters represent Pittsylvania County’s agricultural and educational heritage, to include Chatham Hall and Hargrave Military Academy, wineries, as well as the state bird and flower.
The creation of the sign was a collaboration between community members, civic groups, local businesses and Pittsylvania County. Contributors included Amthor International Inc., Southside Concrete Supply, Todd Breaux State Farm, Tim Hilliard Marketing and Promotions, The Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex, Chatham First, Chatham Rotary, The Homeplace Vineyard, Warren Shelton PLLC, Elite Fabrication and KG Graphics. Those on the working committee included Brenda Bowman, Alisa Davis, Lisa Shorter, Bill Black and Mary Smith, as well as volunteers from Chatham First, Chatham Rotary, Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex and The Homeplace Vineyard.
The Pittsylvania County Love sign also includes a kiosk with URL symbols directing visitors to the businesses that helped create the sculpture, as well as Pittsylvania County’s website.

The Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex is located at 19783 U.S. 29 in Chatham.
