Holly E. Stanfield is the Human Resources Director for Pittsylvania County. She is responsible for planning and managing the County’s human resources programs and activities. She is also the County's ADA Coordinator. 

Holly has 20 plus years of experience in the human resources field. Prior to joining Pittsylvania County, she worked as the HR Director at Sky Valley Foods (now Lighthouse) in Danville, and before that served as the HR Director for Stratford House in Danville. Holly has been a Virginia resident for 15 years. She lived in Baltimore, Maryland for almost 20 years before moving to Virginia. While in Baltimore, she worked for Zurich Insurance and then TEKsystems as a Regional HR Field Manager.

Holly is a long-time member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), as well the local SHRM Chapter out of Danville. She currently resides in Halifax County with her husband Kenny, a retired firefighter and Captain of 31 years from the city of Danville, and their fur baby Oscar – a miniature dachshund. Holly and Kenny have three children who currently live in Virginia Beach and Charlotte. Holly enjoys life in the country, spending most of her time outside when home. She loves spending time with her family, gardening, traveling, and is an avid bird watcher.
