Scott Budd has worked with Pittsylvania County Information Technology Department since 1999. Scott oversees the County's network infrastructure and computer infrastructure, streams public County meetings, and ensures cyber security for County Administration. His day-to-day job includes replacing equipment, keeping up with cyber security threats and developments, and completing whatever tasks are asked of the IT Department.

Scott went to school for computer networking and has completed many other courses on cyber security. He was inspired to take this position because he has been fascinated by computers since he was nine years old. He is proud to say that he built the County's network from the bottom to its current stage. He enjoys fishkeeping, hiking, gaming, and astronomy.
