Pittsylvania County Public Safety, in partnership with many other area organizations and our volunteer fire and rescue agencies, puts on a variety of training opportunities for current and aspiring Fire and EMS personnel and volunteers. Keep up with all upcoming training and certification opportunities below. 

Oftentimes volunteer agencies will sponsor the cost of their members completing training and obtaining certifications. If you are with a local volunteer agency, be sure to discuss sponsorship with the agency leadership.

Advance Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Renewall Class

Pittsylvania County Public Safety is hosting an Advance Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) renewal class on January 30 at the Chatham Volunteer Fire Department. This class is only for those that have already obtained their ACLS certification.
