The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) is a quasi-judicial board appointed by the Circuit Court of Pittsylvania County to serve a five year term. The function of the BZA is to hear and decide Special Use Permit requests, to authorize variances from the regulations set forth in the Zoning Ordinance, and to hear and decide appeals from any decision or determination made by the Zoning Administrator.
