What value is being used for my 2022 property taxes?

Aside from new construction, the County will utilize whatever value was on file for the previous tax year. The values that were utilized for tax bills in 2021 are being re-certified by the Commissioner of the Revenue and will be utilized for real estate tax bills in 2022 and 2023. A request for proposals for reassessment and new construction appraisal has been issued, and those values will go into effect January 1, 2024.
