The Pittsylvania County Literacy Program (PCLP) provides free 1-on-1 tutoring to any county resident over the age of 18 who desires to improve their literacy level. Individual students work with tutors to set their goals which may include GED assistance, Math skills, Reading improvement, or any identified goal. All adult ages are welcome!
Tutors meet in various libraries and churches around the county. The PCLP office is located at 61 North Main Street, Chatham with hours 10 – 3 on Mondays and Wednesday. The Bridge Center in Gretna offers tutoring with an emphasis on GED assistance on Tuesday and Thursday – 4:30 – 6:30.
